Congratulations! The Weightlifting Team of Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School long sponsored by Novatek won the spirit championship in senior men’s division, and team bronze medal in senior men’s division as well as senior women’s division in this year's National Youth Cup Powerlifting Championships. As for the individual awards, the Team won a total of 5 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

The coach of the Weightlifting Team of Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School is the eight-peat powerlifting gold medalist Ya-Jing Huang from Changhua County. Since 2002, she has been serving as the coach in Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School and has been coaching the players who won a total of “5 gold medals” in this year's National Youth Cup Powerlifting Championships. "The players are all students she supervised. Player Yi-Jin Chen was originally assigned to practice weightlifting. Ya-Jing Huang trained her skills to improve her squat and deadlift by 80 kg within a month. This year, she broke the record of the Championships in squat and won the champion of powerlifting in the 57 kg weight class.
Guan-Yu Chen, who won the second place in the 62 kg weight class of the Presidents Cup in Grade 8, was selected as the Junior Potential Outstanding Player. He is the champion in the 74 kg weight class of this year’s Championships. Wen-Xiang Zhang challenged the 83 kg weight class in this year's National Youth Cup Powerlifting Championships. In order to surpass the leader in the same division, coach Ya-Jing Huang taught him to use tactics to increase 2.5 kg in deadlift. He gave everything he can and successfully lifted 212.5 kg in the deadlift to win the gold medal with a total weight of 532.5 kg.
Yu-Xuan Chen is a potential outstanding player in weightlifting. She won the champion in the 76 kg weight class of this year’s Powerlifting Championships. The most memorable thing for her in weightlifting is that every time when she puts on tight sports clothes, “it is difficult for her to apply strength”. She always gives everything she can to lift up the weight during the competition. After taking off the sports clothes, "she still feels numb all over". When it comes to the tightness of the sports clothes and the knee wraps, many players have the experience of "crying due to the over-tight of the sports clothes". The 84 kg weight class weightlifting champion Rou-Fang Chen has cried before "because it is extremely painful; however, to get good results, she must bear the pain".
Ling-Hui Liu, the principal of Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School, said that in addition to thanking coach Ya-Jing Huang for her guidance, I would also like to thank the Novatek Foundation for its long-term sponsorship of the weightlifting team’s training equipment, gym facility, and nutritional supplements for the students, allowing the coach and the students to focus on practice without any worries.
