Problem to be solved
The sports teams of schools in rural areas have been lacking resources for many years. In addition to devoting their time to training players, team coaches also have to raise funds to support the training; students have performed well in sports, but are disadvantaged economically and are often forced to give up their dreams.
Cultivation of Fuli Archery Team
Since 2007, Novatek has been sponsoring the archery team of the Fuli Junior High School in Hsinchu City for 16 years, including their trainings, equipment, staff expenses, and costs for attending domestic/foreign competitions, through the donation of Novatek’s employees and the Novatek Foundation. Over the years, Novatek has been cultivating archery players in a
one-stop manner, starting from ju8nior high schools to universities, and has fostered several national team archery players to win numerous awards in international competitions.

Cultivation of the Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School Weightlifting Team
Since 2017, the Novatek Foundation has been sponsoring the training of the National Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School weightlifting team in Changhua County. The items of sponsorship include environmental hardware equipment, training supplies, nutritional supplements, and so on. Over the past 6 years, many young athletes have been cultivated to win medals in international competitions. It is hoped that more outstanding sports talents can be cultivated for rural areas to stand on the international stage, encouraging young students to develop their skills and strengths in weightlifting.

Cultivation of athletes in the Taekwondo Team of National Pei-men Senior Agricultural and Industrial Vocational School
Starting from 2022, we have been sponsoring the training of the Taekwondo Team of National Pei-men Senior Agricultural and Industrial Vocational School in Jiali District, Tainan. The sponsorship includes equipment, consumables, nutrition expenses, athlete training fees, domestic competition expenses, and improvements in training environment.

We are very grateful for the timely assistance provided by the Novatek Foundation to the sports team of our school. The support can significantly reduce the financial burden of daily living expenses for students in rural areas who are raised by single parents or grandparents, so that students can focus more on training and competitions. Cultivation of Fuli Archery Team
Thanks to the Novatek Foundation for supporting me to go through my archery training years in junior high school year, win bronze medal at the Rio Olympics, and now return to work as a coach in my hometown. Due to Novatek's long-term sponsorship and cultivation for more than 16 years, I have grown up to reach my drams successfully without any worries. In the future, I will continue to devote myself to archery with a grateful mind, and cultivate outstanding children to repay Novatek's long-term support and sponsorship.
Cultivation of the Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School Weightlifting Team
Thanks to the Novatek Foundation for providing high-quality training equipment and nutritional products for the students of the Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School Weightlifting Team, improving the condition of the weightlifting training ground by laying sports mats, and offering long-term assistance in training, so that students can participate in competitions without any worries and problems. The Foundation helped Qi-Wei Zheng, a student of the weightlifting team, to win the silver medal in the men's 89 kg weight class in the weightlifting competition of the 2020 IWF Youth Online World Cup. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Novatek Foundation for providing the students of the Erh-lin Industrial and Commercial Vocational High School Weightlifting Team with a powerful tool to break out of the cocoon, so that they can turn into beautiful butterflies with full confidence.
