2022 Novatek Spring Campus Recruiting Drives, Cultivating Industry-University Relations

Due to the pandemic in the past two years, some campus activities have been held online, leaving Novatek with fewer opportunities to engage with students on campus. Even so, Novatek is still working hard to cultivate industry-university relations. In 2021, it launched a series of events including “NovaTalk Technical Lecture,” “Novatek Podcast” and “Resumé Checkup for New Graduates,” drawing in new graduates to learn more about Novatek through various activities and hoping to recruit outstanding talents via the events.

 

Fortunately, the long-awaited campus recruiting events were finally arrived! This year, Novatek successfully held job fairs at 4 universities and recruitment briefing sessions at 7 universities. Many supervisors and senior employees of Novatek with backgrounds in IC design, algorithm development, system application and physical design were invited to attend the events and share their work with the students, as well as the Company’s benefits and the mentoring system. In addition, career development advice or follow-up course plans were provided to students as references so as to establish a good corporate image and to bring new, outstanding talents onboard. A total of more than 1,600 students participated in these events (an increase of 49% compared to last year). Nearly 30 new employees were recruited through the R&D Substitute Service/pre-hiring programs and 20 summer interns were hired, meeting the anticipated results.

 

With Novatek’s continuous development, our demand for manpower is increasing. Through various campus events, we hope to get in touch with outstanding talents as early as possible. No matter if it’s industry-university cooperation, campus recruitment activities, summer intern programs, or R&D Substitute
