2022 Novatek Foundation PhD Scholarship Winners List

To promote the development of science education and the cultivation of outstanding talents, the Novatek Foundation began offering scholarships starting in 2010, encouraging outstanding PhD students to devote themselves to academic research and technological innovation.
There was quite a large pool of talented candidates who applied for this year’s PhD scholarships. In the end, a total of 8 outstanding PhD candidates stood out and won the Novatek Scholarship. Over the past 13 years, the Novatek Foundation has granted more than NT$51.69 million to cultivate 244 outstanding talents with PhD and master’s degrees in electrical engineering. Novatek Scholarship winners have no obligation to hold posts or sign contracts, and can receive sponsorship for up to 5 consecutive years, with a monthly stipend of NT$50,000 (NT$600,000 per year).
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and encourage all our outstanding scholarship winners, hoping that through the cultivation of talents in science and technology, Taiwan can build up its R&D capacity to lead the world in innovation.
