With Novatek Foundation’s long-term support, and in collaboration with the Yunlin Storyteller Association, the Story Summer Camp has been held continuously since 2011. This initiative provides children in Yunlin, who have limited access to learning resources, with stable companionship and diverse learning opportunities.
In 2023, the Story Summer Camp’s theme built upon the concepts of “home” and “residence” by integrating United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1, 3, 4, 11, and 13. Participants were familiarized with the characteristics of green buildings—ecology, energy-saving, waste reduction, health—and the applications of technology in architecture. The camp aimed to broaden children’s perspectives and inspire them to contemplate their ideal future living environment and home, reminding them that by actively engaging in the present, they can influence the future.
