Under the bright sun, enthusiastic Novatek volunteers gathered again with visually impaired students from Taichung School for the Visually Impaired at the Taichung Sun Cake Museum, a bakery with a history of sixty years. In addition to selling delicious traditional sun cakes, they also offer live cake-making demonstrations. The master baker guided Novatek volunteers and visually impaired students through the process, from preparing the oil dough and water dough to the maltose filling, to the completion of the final product. Although the visually impaired students couldn't clearly see the shape and color of the cakes, they could differentiate the more pliable water dough from the oilier oil dough by touch. With the help of volunteers, they carefully wrapped the maltose filling in the dough, ensuring it wouldn't leak out during baking, successfully completing their personal creations.

After enjoying a Vietnamese meal for lunch, the group headed to the ASEAN Square to start a scavenger hunt. They used their hearing to identify an Indonesian song, and at BigKing, they used their hundred-dollar vouchers to choose among various snacks and drinks for their afternoon snack, carefully calculating their choices. After much effort, everyone returned to the starting point to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Reflecting on the day's activities, it's evident that the foundation's events are thoughtfully designed. These activities allow the cheerful and lively visually impaired students to explore their surroundings using senses other than sight. At the same time, they enable volunteer partners to demonstrate empathy, taking care of the visually impaired students as if they were their own, accompanying them in completing tasks and experiencing different cultural stimuli.
