Novatek's First Implementation of ISO 14067:2018 Carbon Footprint System for Driver IC Products, Verified by Third Parties

To fully implement its green operation policy, Novatek has proactively begun establishing a carbon footprint system for its driver IC products starting in 2024. The system comprehensively records and calculates the greenhouse gas emissions from various stages such as raw material manufacturing, transportation, product manufacturing, testing, and packaging for both COG and COF product types. This calculation covers the entire product life cycle and has successfully passed third-party verification. Novatek obtained the ISO 14067 product carbon footprint verification statement in December 2024, valid from December 31, 2024, to December 30, 2026.
Novatek has taken another significant step in promoting environmental protection. By analyzing the verification results, the company aims to identify key carbon emission hotspots of its products. This opportunity will be used to formulate carbon reduction strategies and actively work towards minimizing environmental impact.
