Novatek Microelectronics continues to invest in campus recruitment and talent development. For its 2025 summer internship program, the company expanded the program and successfully recruited 80 outstanding students. Internship roles covered core technical areas including analog IC design, digital IC design, algorithm development, firmware/software and hardware development, and physical process engineering—aimed at creating a mutually beneficial industry‑academia bridge for both the company and students.
Over the two‑month internship, interns worked on project‑based assignments and were directly guided by departmental mentors who integrated them into team projects. The company also provided a series of technical seminars and workplace soft‑skills workshops covering professional technical training, project management, workplace communication, and career planning to help interns quickly acclimate and gain practical experience. To strengthen team collaboration and deliverables, group tasks and final presentations were organized so interns could demonstrate results and receive feedback.
To enhance talent retention, Novatek implements a pre‑hire system: intern performance is evaluated at the end of the program and successful candidates receive employment offers. This year’s pre‑hire rate reached 79%, highlighting the internship program’s effectiveness in attracting young talent. Through a systematic internship development mechanism, students can apply campus learning to real‑world corporate practices, while the company can identify and cultivate potential hires as a pipeline for long‑term R&D teams. Going forward, Novatek will continue to deepen cooperation with universities, optimize internship content and evaluation mechanisms, and strengthen campus recruitment to support its future technical and business development needs.
