Novatek Recognized Among the Top 5% in Corporate Governance Evaluation for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Novatek Microelectronics has once again been ranked among the top 5% of listed companies in the 2025 12th Corporate Governance Evaluation, jointly conducted by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx). This outstanding achievement underscores Novatek’s continued commitment to strengthening and effectively implementing robust corporate governance practices.
Since 2022, Novatek has maintained its position within the top 5% for four consecutive years, demonstrating its long‑term dedication to enhancing board effectiveness, improving information transparency, advancing sustainable development initiatives, and safeguarding shareholder rights. These sustained efforts have earned strong recognition from both regulatory authorities and capital markets. In 2025, to further demonstrate the senior management team’s commitment to ESG strategy execution, Novatek linked executive compensation to ESG performance indicators and conducted a global employee sustainability engagement survey. The survey achieved an overall response rate of 89%, with a sustainability engagement score of 74%, reflecting employees’ strong alignment with and recognition of the Company’s sustainability vision.
From an environmental perspective, Novatek continues to advance ISO 14067 product carbon footprint verification and has introduced an internal carbon pricing mechanism, integrating carbon costs into capital allocation and investment decision‑making processes. During the year, Novatek’s MSCI ESG rating improved from BB to BBB, while the Company also received an A‑ rating in CDP’s Climate Change assessment, highlighting its strong performance in environmental management and climate action, as recognized by leading international ESG rating agencies. In addition, Novatek actively supports cultural development by sponsoring arts and cultural initiatives and promoting cultural diversity, thereby continuously giving back to society and fostering the synergistic development of culture and industry.
Looking ahead, Novatek Microelectronics will continue to deliver on its sustainability commitments through concrete actions, deepen the effectiveness of its ESG governance framework, and further enhance its positive corporate impact, working collaboratively with industry stakeholders to build a more sustainable future.
