Novatek summer internship program, showcasing brilliant intern results

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread in 2022, Novatek hasn’t stopped its commitment to talent recruitment. Through the campus recruiting event in March as well as various campus activities, Novatek continued to recruit outstanding talents.

 

Novatek recruited 53 interns this year, whose professional studies cover analog IC design, digital IC design, algorithm development, software/firmware development, physical process design, etc. During the two-month internship period, Novatek launched a series of technical courses, allowing students to choose their own subject of interest other than their expertise. The course instructors are Novatek engineers with many years of experience in display driver IC and SoC products. The instructors not only shared professional knowledge and practical project experience, but also technology trends from a forward-looking perspective, providing practical advice to students. The HR Department also provided seminars on job search skills to the interns, allowing them to think about their career development paths and to plan ahead for future connections in the workplace. In addition, to enable students’ accumulation of soft power in the workplace, they had the chance to get to know each other better and experience Novatek’s life together through participation in team activities. To gain an in-depth understanding of Novatek’s culture, the interns also interviewed the Novatek employees, and presented their brilliant internship results in groups at the end of the program, demonstrating their key competencies such as communication skills, creativity and logic.

 

In recent years, Novatek has continued to expand its research capabilities as well as R&D capacity, and cultivate industry-university collaboration. In order to utilize the achievements from universities, outstanding students were given priority recruitment through the summer internship program. The internship program was combined with pre-employment recruitment to offer 60% of the interns with full-time job qualification in advance. Novatek hopes that as its operating performance continues to grow, the bond between industry and academia will remain strong to strengthen the recruitment of potential talents in universities, reserving energy for Novatek’s R&D team to reach new peaks!
