Novatek Foundation 2022 Yunlin Summer Story Camp Second Session Highlights Part 1

Promote Reading in Rural Areas

Story and Game Exchange | Novatek Foundation

The second-session Novatek Summer Story Camp, which integrates the “Convention on the Rights of Children (CRC)” as the main focus, was held from August 15 to August 16 based on the subjective needs of participants. The Camp includes activities such as creative thinking, discussion courses, issues investigations, street interviews, etc., guiding children towards talking about their issues in life, expressing their opinions, and learning problem-solving skills through the process!

The Camp was designed for children aged 10 to 15, and students from 16 schools (elementary and middle school) from 9 townships around Yunlin County participated in the event. Eleven high school and university students were also invited to offer assistance during the Camp, getting the children to engage in activities by helping them out and by being someone the children could look up to. The Novatek Foundation has long been involved in child education, providing disadvantaged youth who lack educational resources with a wonderful summer experience!
