Novatek held its first “Supply Chain Sustainability Forum” on September 20th. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Forum was held online. This event brought together important domestic and overseas suppliers from Novatek’s supply chain, including wafer fabrication, packaging and testing. This year, the discussion was focused on climate change issues. Suppliers, experts and scholars were invited to share international trends in carbon reduction and achievements in waste reduction as well as the promotion of the circular economy. A total of 70 people participated in the event.

Novatek is a professional IC design company, and all production-related operations are carried out by our suppliers. For this reason, it is crucial to establish a green operation consensus with our supply chain partners. In addition to expressing our sincere thanks to all of our partners, Novatek also announced its supplier code of conduct during the Forum, working together with the supply chain to promote a greenhouse gas inventory and green operation goals (annual electricity saving rate is ≧1% compared with the previous year; zero days of production interruption due to water rationing). We hope that Novatek’s supply chain partners will work with Novatek to create a green and sustainable environment with the ultimate goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions and sustainable operations.
