The sustainable development of an enterprise not only relies on developing new technologies and exploring new markets, but also on the need to inherit good corporate culture and experience accumulated over the years, establishing the cornerstone of sustainable development for the company. The lecturers within the enterprise are important evangelists in passing on the company’s experience, conveying right attitudes, practices and values, and continuing the company’s culture of the pursuit of excellence. Novatek has been emphasizing and cultivating internal lecturers for many years. It not only provides professional training for internal lecturers, but also encourages all units to share their expertise and experience through score-based internal lecturing competition.

The Outstanding Lecturer Award Ceremony has been held for its 19th year. In the past, the awards ceremony was held in conjunction with the year-end banquet when all employees gathered together. However, considering the pandemic and the significance of the commendation ceremony, this year’s awards ceremony was held on Teacher’s Day to show appreciation for outstanding lecturers and their contributions, while shaping a good corporate culture of inheritance and exchange of Novatek experience. In addition, internal lecturers not only improve the younger generation by passing on their experience, but also allows lecturers themselves to grow, fulfilling the spirit of common good that Novatek values. The theme of this year’s Outstanding Lecturer Awards Ceremony is “Inheritance of Common Goods, a Continuation of Excellence,” which not only gives high expectations to internal lecturers, but also demonstrates that internal lecturers are the key to Novatek’s sustainable development.

In 2021, Novatek had a total of 214 internal lecturers, teaching nearly 200 physical and online courses. At the beginning of the ceremony, Tsong-Min Chen, the Chairman of the Education and Training Committee and Novatek Vice President, thanked all the internal lecturers on behalf of the Committee, and hoped that the lecturers would continue to share their knowledge and experience in the future, improving their expertise to become professional sharers. For the selection of outstanding lecturers in 2021, outstanding lecturers and members of the Education and Training Committee from various departments were invited to review the teaching materials, and 4 lecturers were selected through a diversified and fair manner. They were awarded the honor of outstanding lecturer of the year. There were more than 100 lecturers attending the awards ceremony either in person or online, giving encouragement to the winners. From this year’s review results, it was noted that the quantity and quality of teaching delivered by the internal lecturers have improved, which is also the growth and development that the Company expects to see.

In order to enable the lecturers and employees participating in the awards ceremony to possess the capability and motivation for continuous improvement, Novatek invited senior consultants with thousands of lecture experience in the past to teach the role, mentality, methods and skills of excellent lecturers. The touching lectures sparked the inspirational fires of each lecturer to continue teaching in the future, and left a memory full of blessings for this year’s Novatek Outstanding Lecturer Award Ceremony.
