Novatek Volunteers Join Night Angel Students for Tour of Simbalion Art Studio and Taoyuan Disaster Education Center

On a bright and cheerful morning, this volunteer activity took place at the Simbalion Art Studio in Taoyuan. This is a space where both adults and children can unleash their imaginations. What left the deepest impression on me was when we were painting our own canvas tote bags. The instructor said, “Now, let's take a look at the monsters on the projection screen. What makes them different? They come in various colors like red, blue, and green, with all sorts of shapes and different accessories, just like how each one of us is unique and special. We are all wonderful and unique beings!” The Studio also had areas for everyone to draw and paint freely, allowing creativity to flow freely. This is a perfect place for a family outing with children!
In the afternoon, we visited the Taoyuan Disaster Education Center. There, we got to experience simulated earthquakes, fire and smoke evacuations, and CPR, and even play the role of firefighters. It was an incredibly educational place. The children didn’t just leave it to the teachers; they really got a basic understanding of disaster evacuation. I’m sure this journey not only brought enjoyment, but also emotional and experiential growth!
