Novatek Social Caring Fund Supports Maria Home’s “Music Therapy Program for People with PIMD”, Expressing Love through Music

For 35 years, Maria Social Welfare Foundation has been dedicated to serving individuals with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD). Recognizing the diverse needs of these individuals, the Foundation established a Music Therapy Center and hired music therapy teachers. Over the past 8 years, they have assisted a total of 3,309 individuals with disabilities annually.
When the Novatek Social Caring Fund learned about Maria Home’s shortage of musical equipment, employees were swift to react. Through their generous donations, the Fund assisted in purchasing a YAMAHA upright piano and a batch of special sound-producing instruments, expressing Novatek’s employees’ love to the D.D. Angels (children with developmental delays) through music.
