Novatek has long been dedicated to research and development (R&D) in the fields of smart imaging and smart display technologies. To safeguard its R&D achievements, the Company formulated an intellectual property management plan that integrates operational objectives with R&D resources, aiming to effectively manage and protect intellectual properties such as patents and trade secrets. On October 13, 2023, Novatek once again successfully obtained an A-Level verification under the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS) through external review. With this achievement, the Company hopes to establish a more robust intellectual property and confidential information management system to protect the its core competitiveness and enhance corporate governance. On January 22, 2024, Mr. Guang-Zhi Wang, Director of Novatek, received the certificate personally awarded by the Director General of the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, Mr. Ching-Chang Lien.
