Novatek Microelectronics Continues to Be Selected as a Constituent of the "TWSE Employment 99 Index" and the "Taiwan Corporate Governance 100 Index"

Sustainability

The "TWSE Employment 99 Index" is jointly compiled by the Taiwan Stock Exchange and Rayliant Global Advisors. It selects 99 stocks from listed companies that employ the highest number of employees in Taiwan as constituents, with the constituent weight determined by the number of employees. This index is the world's first new-generation corporate social responsibility index. Novatek Microelectronics is one of the companies with the highest number of employees in Taiwan among all listed companies. After being screened by the "TWSE Employment 99 Index," Novatek has been included as a constituent for four consecutive years, reflecting its efforts and recognition in fulfilling corporate social responsibility and helping to reduce unemployment for sustainable development.

The "Taiwan Corporate Governance 100 Index" conducts its annual review every July, selecting stocks that meet the criteria of being in the "top 20% of the most recent year's corporate governance evaluation" and having "the net value per share not lower than the par value at the end of the most recent year." Subsequent rankings are based on "net profit after tax for the most recent year" and "revenue growth rate for the most recent year," selecting the top 100 stocks as constituents. Novatek Microelectronics has been chosen as a constituent for ten consecutive years and has received the top 5% ranking in corporate governance evaluations for two years starting from 2022. This indicates excellent corporate governance performance, which is a crucial foundation for sustainable corporate development. Novatek aims to continuously enhance its corporate competitiveness and fulfill its responsibility for sustainable development through concrete actions.
