Novatek Social Caring Fund Supports the Improvement of the Working Environment at the Hsinchu Sheltered Bakery Workshop for People with Disabilities

Support for the Disadvantaged

In 2024, Novatek Social Caring Fund donated NT$224,000 to the Hsinchu Sheltered Bakery Workshop for People with Disabilities to enhance their working environment and improve employment quality.

Since the establishment of the Novatek Social Caring Fund in 2007, Novatek has adhered to the philosophy of "gathering small contributions to achieve significant public welfare efforts," consistently investing in public welfare and giving back to society by supporting disadvantaged groups. In 2011, the Novatek Social Caring Fund donated equipment to the sheltered workshops, funded a packaging machine in 2014, and supported fitness center equipment and health monitoring devices in 2018, continually aiding in vocational training and family care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This year, Novatek once again demonstrated its social responsibility by dedicating funds to repair the EPOXY industrial flooring at the Hsinchu Sheltered Bakery Workshop. This significantly improved the safety and comfort of the working environment, allowing sheltered employees to focus better on production, thus enhancing efficiency and product quality, and strengthening the sustainability of the workshop's operations.

This initiative goes beyond financial support; it reflects a profound concern for the welfare of sheltered employees. By improving the work facilities, employees can work in a safer environment. This not only has a lasting impact on each employee's life but also provides strong support for their social integration and job stability.

Novatek remains committed to promoting social inclusion, working hand-in-hand with various sectors to create a more inclusive and sustainable society. We firmly believe that through collective efforts, we can build a better future for every sheltered employee, allowing them to fully realize their potential, alleviate the burden on their families, and achieve self-sufficiency.
