Novatek is actively responding to environmental protection and continuously promoting sustainable development. Since October 2024, the company has shifted to procuring sustainable service umbrellas for employee business use made from recycled PET bottle yarn. This change not only enhances the user experience for staff across all operational sites in Taiwan but also implements the circular economy and fulfills corporate social responsibility.

The new-generation eco-yarn sustainable umbrellas use GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified recycled materials:
• Canopy: made from the equivalent of six recycled PET bottles, reducing plastic waste.
• Handle: made from recycled plastic to support resource circularity and reuse.

By choosing materials made from recycled PET bottle yarn, Novatek demonstrates its firm commitment to environmental protection and promoting sustainable social development. Novatek will continue to advance green procurement, implement sustainable development principles, and act to protect the planet.
