Novatek’s Long-Term Commitment to ESG: Donations with Thoughtful Gifts “Natural is Best”

Novatek has been steadfast in implementing ESG principles over the long term, placing great emphasis on public welfare and sustainable development. The company closely integrates its business operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition to advocating for social initiatives internally, Novatek actively fulfills its social responsibilities externally, thereby creating a positive cycle that enhances both corporate value and overall social well-being.
In this year’s “Novatek Caring Fund” charity campaign, the company carefully selected two ESG-aligned gifts to express appreciation to donors. One gift is “Yuan Natural Organic Rice” from Chishang, which is produced using natural farming methods to protect the soil and biodiversity, demonstrating environmental stewardship while creating job opportunities in rural areas. The other is “Victory Kitchen Spicy Sauce,” for which Novatek placed thousands of orders to support employment for people with disabilities and to increase the income of social welfare organizations. The total procurement amount for these gifts exceeded NT$479,000, fully demonstrating Novatek’s commitment to green consumption and its ongoing efforts to amplify the positive impacts of ESG.
Since 2007, Novatek has established the “Novatek Caring Fund,” with employees voluntarily making donations under the belief that “small contributions from many can achieve great public good.” The fund has long supported charitable organizations, embedding philanthropy into the company’s culture and inviting more partners to join in creating a better society together.
