Enhancing Learning Environments for Children with Developmental Delays: Novatek Caring Fund Supports CCF Sensory Classroom Renovation

Support for the Disadvantaged

Novatek’s Caring Fund recently donated NT$1.38 million to support the renovation of a sensory classroom at the Taichung Development Center of Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (CCF). This initiative aims to provide a higher quality learning environment for children with developmental delays (“slow-flying angels”). Through the professional renovation of the sensory classroom, it is hoped that children can unleash their potential in a space filled with love and support, paving the way for a brighter future. CCF expressed its gratitude for Novatek’s generous contribution, noting that this not only supports their services but also reflects the company’s care for society.

Since 2007, Novatek has established the “Caring Fund,” with employees making annual voluntary donations under the philosophy of “small contributions from many accomplish great public good.” Over the years, these collective efforts have supported various charitable organizations in need, ensuring they receive more appropriate care and making philanthropy an integral part of the company culture.

Novatek’s Caring Fund has been deeply engaged in public welfare activities for many years. In 2009, it donated NT$1.28 million to support the procurement of therapeutic equipment for the CCF Taichung Development Center. The fund has continuously supported various CCF service programs, including emergency relief, educational subsidies, mask donations during the pandemic, and regular procurement of products from CCF’s “Happiness Shop.” Through concrete actions, Novatek demonstrates its commitment to caring for the disadvantaged, ensuring that love continues to flow and more children are encouraged to move forward bravely toward a better future.
