Novatek Social Caring Fund Supports Rural Sports Talent Development; Honored as Yilan County’s Model Donor for Education in 2025

Novatek Microelectronics has long been committed to supporting rural education and the development of athletic talent. Since 2019, the company’s employee-donated “Novatek Social Caring Fund” has continuously supported the Nanao High School basketball team in Yilan, with cumulative donations reaching NT$1.46 million. Recently, Novatek was recognized with Yilan County’s “Model Donor for Education (Academic Year 2024).”
Through sustained communication and collaboration with the coaching staff, Novatek’s support extends beyond funding training expenses to emphasize students’ holistic learning and personal development. The coaching staff designs training plans to support athletes’ steady growth in sports, and leverages their athletic strengths to expand opportunities for higher education and future employment. Consistent accompaniment and resource investment help students explore interests, build confidence, and broaden their learning horizons—allowing rural youth to grow with care and support and to eventually give back to their communities.
Novatek will continue to respond to the real needs of rural areas by combining voluntary employee donations with oversight from a dedicated committee. The company will steadily promote local education and sports development in rural communities and continue to generate social impact through concrete actions.
