Novatek has long been attentive to the needs of vulnerable groups and, through employee contributions to its “Novatek Social Caring Fund,” continuously supports social welfare initiatives. The fund has recently donated NT$3.6 million to support the Lan-Chih Social Welfare Foundation’s construction project for the “Tianxin Joyful Aging Home,” upgrading kitchen facilities and refurbishing living spaces to provide a safe, warm, and dignified end-of-life living environment for people with intellectual disabilities in Yilan. This initiative responds to the practical long-term care needs arising from an aging society.

Since its founding, Novatek has committed to philanthropic giving. Beginning in 2007, employees have voluntarily contributed each year to establish the “Novatek Loving Continuation Fund,” guided by the principle of “collecting small contributions to accomplish great public good,” and has continually supported social welfare organizations. Since 2013, this donation marks the fourth time in 13 years that the company has supported the Lan-Chih Foundation, bringing the cumulative contributions to more than NT$8.55 million. Donation projects have included vehicle replacements, optimization of service spaces, and establishment of care facilities—substantially improving care quality and life stability for people with intellectual disabilities.

Through sustained and stable philanthropic engagement, Novatek embeds corporate social responsibility into its operations and organizational culture, demonstrating concrete practice of the social dimension (S) of ESG. By engaging in deep partnerships with non-profit social welfare organizations, the company not only strengthens social support networks but also deepens positive connections between business and society, continuing to generate compassionate, socially meaningful impact.
