Since 2024, Novatek Microelectronics has progressively initiated the establishment and management of an ISO 14067:2018 product carbon footprint system, systematically calculating and monitoring greenhouse gas emissions across lifecycle stages including raw material production, transportation, product manufacturing, testing, and packaging. In accordance with the company’s existing sustainability governance policies, a phased verification mechanism was adopted: the inventory and third‑party verification for LCD Driver IC products were completed in 2024, and the first phase of carbon footprint management for System‑on‑Chip (SoC) products was completed in 2025, successfully passing third‑party inventory and verification—demonstrating Novatek Microelectronics’ steady advancement in product carbon footprint management.
Novatek Microelectronics plans to continue advancing the second phase of product carbon footprint inventory and verification for SoC products in 2026, conducting in‑depth analyses of product carbon hotspots and tracking reduction performance with scientific indicators. We intend to integrate carbon footprint insights into design and procurement decisions, collaborate with the supply chain to implement emission reduction measures, and pursue long‑term, measurable carbon mitigation targets to ensure our sustainability commitments are concretely realized.
