For 16 years, the volunteer team of the Novatek Education Foundation has exemplified the selfless spirit of youth volunteers. Through collaboration and capacity building, volunteers have continuously supported visually impaired students, adolescents in care institutions, and disadvantaged children in their learning and development. Their sustained efforts have deepened social impact, earning the foundation recognition as an “Outstanding Promoting Unit” in the Ministry of Education’s 3rd Youth Volunteer Awards for eight consecutive years (2018–2025). In addition, the foundation has twice received the Ministry’s award for “Outstanding Utilization Unit of Educational Volunteer Services.” To date, the foundation has been honored a total of ten times with dual volunteer awards from the Ministry of Education. All of these achievements are attributable to the volunteers’ ongoing and selfless commitment to service.
Novatek has implemented paid “corporate volunteer leave” for four consecutive years, granting each employee 16 hours of corporate volunteer leave per year. The company also annually invites several top volunteer performers—those with the highest number of volunteer service instances during the year—to join the head table at the year‑end banquet as a gesture of appreciation and recognition for their concrete contributions to social volunteerism. Going forward, the foundation will continue to move forward with the power of compassion, further mobilizing corporate volunteer capacity to give back to society and spread warmth through acts of care.
