Novatek Achieves 24.2% Renewable Energy Use in 2025, Exceeding Annual Target

Novatek Microelectronics is committed to environmental sustainability and has been progressively procuring solar power to increase its share of renewable energy. In 2025, the company procured 10,146,000 kWh of externally supplied solar electricity and generated 237,000 kWh from its own on-site solar installations. In total, Novatek obtained 10,383,000 kWh of green electricity in 2025, bringing the year’s renewable energy usage to 24.2%, surpassing the 2025 target of 20%.
Since 2023, Novatek has steadily increased its renewable energy share — from 7.8% in 2023 to 24.2% in 2025 — and has set a 2026 target of 25%.
Novatek continues to take concrete actions to respond to carbon reduction, not only by strengthening energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures across its facilities, but also by procuring green power and operating self-owned solar generation systems, contributing to the global net-zero carbon goal. |
