Novatek Drives Employee Giving in Partnership with Social Enterprises to Support the Growth of Children in Rural Communities

Novatek has long been committed to ESG-driven sustainable development, actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility (CSR) and aligning its business philosophy with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through diverse philanthropic initiatives, the Company continues to expand its social impact and promote an inclusive and sustainable society.
In this year’s “Novatek Social Caring Fund” employee donation campaign, Novatek introduced a “Choose One of Three Donation Gifts” program, integrating circular resource use, local empowerment, and green consumption to encourage employees to take concrete action in sustainability initiatives. In collaboration with Aguli Social Enterprise, two smallholder farmer gift sets were launched to support environmentally friendly agriculture and the development of local industries. The combined contributions from the Company and employees exceeded NTD 334,000, demonstrating tangible outcomes of collective engagement in sustainability efforts.
Among the initiatives, the “Circular Care Initiative” — featuring a charitable meal box program — attracted participation from 432 employees. In partnership with the Children Are Us Foundation, the program connected schools in rural communities in Tainan and Hsinchu, and is expected to provide 1,296 meal servings for schoolchildren, helping enhance their daily care and learning support.
Since establishing the “Novatek Social Caring Fund” in 2007, Novatek has continuously mobilized employee participation in social welfare activities, embedding care into its corporate culture. By collaborating with stakeholders, the Company remains dedicated to advancing sustainable development and fostering a more inclusive and compassionate society.
