Novatek Microelectronics has long regarded technological and product innovation as a key driver of its growth and development. Since 2008, the Company has actively partnered with academia on collaborative technology development projects, strategically investing in forward-looking research to support next-generation product innovations.
As of 2025, Novatek has successfully completed more than 220 industry–academia collaboration projects with university laboratories. This year, four product development projects were nominated for evaluation. Following a rigorous selection process, the collaborative project with Professor Chia-Hung Chen of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University was chosen as the award recipient. The project's innovative technology was successfully commercialized and applied in mass-produced products. In recognition of this achievement, Novatek presented its third Industry Academia Research Innovation Awards to the collaborating professor and the associated R&D team.
This award underscores the importance of industry–academia collaboration and recognizes the outstanding achievements and contributions of participating teams in research, development, and innovation.
