Novatek’s 29th Anniversary Celebration: “Mountain & Sea Delights | Chopstick Challenge” Integrates Employee Engagement and Social Impact

To celebrate its 29th anniversary, Novatek organized a series of events under the theme “A Perfect Pairing of Flavors | Mountain and Sea Feast”, bringing together team engagement, local sourcing, and community outreach to create a distinctive corporate celebration that reflects its commitment to ESG values.
As a highlight of the anniversary program, Novatek introduced oversized game props and designed the “Mountain and Sea Feast | Chopstick Challenge,” a fun and highly accessible team competition. Participants were divided into “Mountain Delicacies” and “Sea Delicacies” teams, symbolizing the coming together of diverse talents across the organization. Through team-based challenges and collaborative gameplay, the event fostered cross-departmental interaction, strengthened employee engagement, and enhanced organizational cohesion. Moving beyond traditional anniversary celebrations, the activity offered a fresh and enjoyable employee experience. Three sessions were held, attracting 705 enthusiastic participants and receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from employees.
To further extend the spirit of the event, Novatek launched a post-event charitable purchase initiative, inviting employees to purchase 86 event props. A total of 41 employees (67 participation instances) actively supported the campaign, raising NT$7,950 in charitable contributions. The proceeds were fully entrusted to the company's employee volunteer organization, Yongxin Club, for donation to the Taipei Aici Social Welfare Foundation.
In addition, the giant ball-pit equipment and ocean balls used during the event were donated to the Preschool Affiliated with Beipu Elementary School in Beipu Township, Hsinchu County. Through this initiative, Novatek helped enrich educational and environmental exploration resources for young children, extending the value and impact of the celebration beyond the company and into the broader community.
Through its 29th anniversary celebration, Novatek successfully connected employee care, local community engagement, and social impact initiatives. The event not only enhanced internal unity and employee participation but also demonstrated the Company’s commitment to ESG principles through tangible actions. As Novatek marks another milestone in its growth journey, it remains dedicated to creating shared value with society and advancing sustainable development for the long term.
