The TWSE RA Taiwan Employment Creation 99 Index is jointly developed by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and FTSE Russell. The index selects 99 listed companies with the largest number of employees hired by their Taiwan-based parent companies as constituent stocks. Constituent weighting is determined by the number of employees, making it the world's first next-generation corporate social responsibility (CSR) index that directly incorporates employment contribution as a key weighting factor.
As one of the listed companies employing the largest workforce in Taiwan, Novatek Microelectronics Corp. has been selected as a constituent of the TWSE RA Taiwan Employment Creation 99 Index for the fifth time.
