Novatek Volunteers Accompany At-Risk Youth in a Career Exploration

I participated in the volunteer program organized by the Novatek Education Foundation. Through a career exploration workshop on Organization, Storage, and Spatial Aesthetics, volunteers joined adolescents from a children's home in experiencing a day of hands-on learning and professional discovery.
Throughout the program, I witnessed the participants gradually transform from being initially reserved to demonstrating remarkable focus and enthusiasm during the practical activities. The workshop was led by professional organization consultant Nana, who introduced the concept of organization and spatial aesthetics as a viable career path. The course challenged the conventional perception that organizing is merely a household chore, instead highlighting its value as a professional discipline and a means of building effective life-management systems. Through expert sharing and interactive exercises, the program guided the youth in exploring diverse career opportunities and broadening their perspectives on future employment possibilities.
The consultant emphasized that, “Organization and storage are not simply about creating a tidy space; they help people establish a sustainable way of living.” This insight reinforced the idea that organizing is more than rearranging physical surroundings. It can also foster a sense of stability, structure, and emotional well-being in daily life.
This meaningful experience not only expanded the horizons of the participating youth but also deeply inspired me. Witnessing their curiosity, engagement, and growth throughout the program was both rewarding and moving, highlighting the positive impact that career exploration opportunities can create for young people facing challenges.
