Novatek Chairman Tai-Shun Ho Ranked No. 4 in “2026 HBR Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders”, Achieving Six Consecutive Top-20 Rankings

Novatek Microelectronics Corp. (Novatek) has once again been recognized for its excellence in sustainable business management and long-term value creation. According to the results of the “2026 Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders” published by the Chinese-language edition of Harvard Business Review (HBR Taiwan), Novatek Chairman Tai-Shun Ho was ranked No. 4 among Taiwan’s top business leaders. Moreover, he has achieved the remarkable distinction of being ranked among the Top 20 for six consecutive editions, demonstrating his steady leadership and outstanding corporate governance performance.

 

Since founding Novatek in 1997 and serving as its Chairman, Mr. Ho has led the company’s continuous growth in the fields of display driver ICs, system-on-chip (SoC) solutions, and image processing technologies. Under his leadership, Novatek has become one of the world's leading semiconductor design companies. According to HBR Taiwan’s historical rankings, Mr. Ho has consistently earned top positions and was named No. 1 overall in 2024, reflecting his strong ability to deliver sustainable shareholder value and maintain corporate competitiveness.

 

From an ESG perspective, Novatek has actively promoted corporate governance, talent development, energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable supply chain management in recent years. HBR Taiwan’s evaluation data also shows that Novatek received an “Excellent” ESG rating in its most recent assessment. At the same time, the company achieved cumulative market capitalization growth of NT$226.1 billion and a cumulative total shareholder return exceeding 698%, demonstrating its ability to balance sustainable development with strong business performance.

 

As the “2026 Taiwan Top 100 Best-Performing Business Leaders” marks the sixth edition of the HBR Taiwan leadership ranking, Taiwan’s AI and semiconductor industries continue to drive corporate growth and global competitiveness. Amid an increasingly competitive business environment, Mr. Ho’s continued presence among the top-ranked business leaders highlights the market’s strong recognition of Novatek’s long-term innovation capabilities, governance quality, and commitment to sustainable development.
