NOVATEK listed as a constituent stock in the Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index
Sustainability
NOVATEK has always emphasized employee compensation, welfare, and talent cultivation, which is why the company has been listed as a constituent stock in the Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index for 10 years running, since 2014.
The Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index was jointly created by the Taiwan Stock Exchange and Research Affiliates, LLC. Regular review of constituent stocks is commissioned to the Taiwan Index Plus Corporation. The primary screening conditions of the index constituent stocks are Average Employee Compensation; Net Profit; Net Worth per Share; and Total Employee Compensation. The Index is calculated based on Research Affiliates, LLC's fundamental index weighting method to improve index performance. This makes it the first corporate social responsibility index in the world that encourages corporations to emphasize employee compensation.
In addition to being a company asset, talent is also the foundation for corporate sustainable development. Companies need to dedicate high quality workers to R&D and product technology innovation while providing employees with diverse learning and development opportunities. In addition to high-level salaries and benefits, companies need to emphasize employees’ physical and mental health and individual growth, in order to promote harmonic labor-management relationship and to maintain proper communication channels. NOVATEK is pushing forward development of employee compensation and welfare with a more aggressive attitude, and fulfilling the company’s corporate responsibility for sustainable development via real action. |
