Discussing the birth of "119 Diary," author Li Guangfu mentioned that a fire broke out at the Xinyu Bowling Alley in Taoyuan City in the early hours of January 20, 2015, resulting in the tragic deaths of six firefighters. Inspired by this incident, he wrote a story related to firefighters on the same day. After receiving an invitation from a publisher, he decided to write it as a rookie's diary, highlighting the dangers and hardships of firefighting work.

He said, "Eighty percent of it is true!" Almost all of the content is sourced from news reports. However, since he is not a firefighter, he found it challenging to write about the processes and professional terminology related to reporting and disaster relief without relevant knowledge. Therefore, he visited nearby fire stations for guidance and eventually developed a close rapport with the firefighters.

Through the "Writers Entering Campuses" program, Li Guangfu interacted with students, sharing his experiences of earning a living through writing submissions, which honed his extraordinary writing skills. Over the past forty years, he has published more than 170 books, allowing the children to understand the journey of becoming a writer.
