Friendly Workplace Upgrades: Novatek Enhances Maternity, Paternity, and Marriage Leave Beyond Labor Standards

Novatek is committed to creating a "Diverse and Flexible Happy Workplace," supporting employees through significant life events such as marriage and childbirth. Since 2022, the company has implemented "Childcare Allowance and Home Office Measures." Employees with children under six years old can arrange flexible work-from-home schedules for up to 15 days. Additionally, a "Childcare Allowance" of NT$5,000 per child per month is provided to ease the economic burden on employees. Starting October 2024, Novatek is enhancing its friendly workplace policies by offering maternity, paternity, and marriage leave that surpasses the requirements of the Labor Standards Act.


During the marriage stage, employees can extend their "Marriage Leave" up to one year after their registration date, exceeding the legal three-month period. This allows employees to flexibly plan their holidays and enjoy precious time with their spouses without concerns. For childbirth, the "Maternity Leave" for female employees is extended from eight to twelve weeks, ensuring a peaceful recovery period post-delivery. Additionally, "Paternity Leave" is extended to be applicable within one month after the spouse's delivery, allowing employees to flexibly use their leave and share the responsibility of newborn care.


Novatek will continue to evaluate and enhance its friendly workplace measures, providing robust support to be a strong and reliable backing for employees, enabling them to balance family and work while sustainably developing with the company.
