Since the establishment of the Novatek Education Foundation Scholarship in 2010, the foundation has been supporting outstanding Ph.D. and Master's students for 15 years, committing to academic research and technological innovation, and injecting new momentum into the development of scientific education in Taiwan. To date, the foundation has sponsored over NT$67 million and cultivated 262 exceptional talents in electrical engineering and information technology. These recipients are not required to fulfill employment or contractual obligations and have excelled in the industry, becoming key figures in IC design and development or nurturing future talents in academia.

In October 2024, the Industry-Academia Technology Committee and Human Resources Department of Novatek hosted the "Scholarship Winners' Industry-Academia Exchange Meeting." This event brought together nine scholarship recipients of the year and representatives from Novatek to engage in a comprehensive exchange of research outcomes, facilitating the sharing of industry-academia experiences and technical exchanges. During the event, the scholarship winners sequentially shared their recent research findings and engaged in discussions with industry representatives, further enhancing the interaction, exchange, and knowledge transfer between academia and industry.

The exchange meeting also featured industry representatives sharing insights into their respective departments and product technologies, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the company's operations and cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, students toured Novatek 's employee cafeteria, gym, convenience store, and art corridor, experiencing firsthand the work environment of the "Lu Rou Engineer" and the company's culture.

At the conclusion of the event, Novatek presented each scholarship winner with a limited edition "Lu Rou Pillow" as a souvenir. The term "Lu Rou" is a homophone for the company's name, symbolizing the successful conclusion of the event and expressing the hope that these students will continue to shine in their future careers, spreading the fragrance of "Lu Rou" far and wide. Novatek and the Novatek Foundation remain committed to supporting higher education in Taiwan and look forward to seeing more outstanding students make an impact in academia and industry, continuously contributing to Taiwan's scientific advancement and innovation.
