Novatek Hosts Nordic Sustainable Tourism Seminar: Committed to Advancing ESG Culture

Sustainability

Novatek Microelectronics has long been dedicated to promoting ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) principles, actively integrating sustainable operations and corporate social responsibility into the company’s development blueprint.

To deepen employees’ understanding of international sustainability trends, Novatek recently organized a special seminar titled "Exploring the Nordics: Encountering Sustainability." Ms. Yuppy Wang, founder of "Nordic Creativity," was invited to share valuable experiences from the five Nordic countries in sustainable development.

The seminar began with an introduction to tourist attractions, followed by an accessible overview of:

  • Sweden’s advocacy for plant-based diets,
  • Norway’s widespread adoption of electric vehicles,
  • Finland and Iceland’s harmonious coexistence with nature,
  • Denmark and Iceland’s innovative applications in urban planning and renewable energy.

The event highlighted how Nordic countries integrate environmental protection, social engagement, and sound governance into everyday life and policy initiatives, fully demonstrating the practical value of ESG.

The seminar attracted 170 employees both in-person and online, fostering enthusiastic interaction and resonating with participants on sustainability issues. Many colleagues remarked that the seminar broadened their perspective on Nordic sustainable culture and inspired them to incorporate the ESG spirit into both their work and daily lives.

Looking ahead, Novatek will continue to organize various sustainability initiatives, working together with all employees to promote corporate culture transformation and advance the ESG vision of environmental friendliness and social well-being.
