Novatek Provides Staff with Insulated Bottles as a “Sustainable Birthday Gift,” Advancing Plastic Reduction with Long-term Impact

For 2025 Novatek Microelectronics’ “Employee Birthday Gift Initiative,” the company selected well-designed, durable insulated bottles to embody its “Stay Sustainable with NOVATEK” commitment. Nearly 3,400 bottles were procured, with selection criteria centered on sustainability, practicality, design, and reduced environmental burden—intended to let employees feel the company’s environmental commitment and care in everyday use.
From an environmental perspective, using a conservative replacement rate estimate, each user can replace approximately 156 single-use plastic bottles per year, yielding a collective reduction of over 500,000 single-use plastic bottles annually and demonstrating sustainable long-term environmental benefits. Each bottle’s base includes a Give Code to track the supported public-welfare projects; part of the proceeds from the donation mechanism is directed to initiatives such as clean water, environmental protection, and food systems. The product also holds sustainability and climate-responsibility recognitions including B Corporation and Climate Neutral, and links sales to charity through a Product to Project® model—providing a clear social-return mechanism. The insulated bottles are made with a high proportion of recycled stainless steel and a reduced-plastic design, effectively lowering the carbon footprint from virgin material extraction and component manufacturing.
Novatek’s choice reinforces its important role in social inclusion. The Sustainable Birthday Gift Initiative will continue to operate, turning routine purchasing into concrete actions that are environmentally friendly over the long term and that generate social impact—positioning consumption itself as a driver for sustainability.
