Novatek Microelectronics has once again achieved an A-level certification under the Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS) for 2025, and was awarded the TIPS certification certificate by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs on February 3, 2026. The certificate was received on behalf of Novatek by Director K.C. Wang.
As a leading domestic chip-design company, Novatek's principal products span display driver ICs and comprehensive solutions for consumer electronics, digital multimedia, smart imaging, and intelligent display technologies. The company has long been committed to R&D in smart imaging and intelligent display technologies, and has established an intellectual property management plan that aligns operational objectives with R&D resources to properly manage and protect patents, trade secrets, and other IP assets.
Since 2022, Novatek has further strengthened its IP management framework by implementing TIPS mechanisms to consolidate its core advantages. Having passed the TIPS certification three consecutive times, the company has more effectively reduced operational risk and enhanced corporate governance.
